Job Title: Midlevel Backend Engineer 

Position Type: Full-time

Location:  100% Remote, but must be located within the U.S.

Job Description:  

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in C#, .NET Core, and MS SQL. As a critical member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing reliable, high-performance server-side applications. You’ll work closely with our frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to create scalable solutions that support seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and robust code using C# and .NET Core.

• Develop and optimize backend components, including APIs and services, that support user-facing features.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new backend functionalities.

• Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of backend services, contributing ideas for improvements.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the backend, optimizing performance where necessary.

• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in backend development.

Required Qualifications:​

​

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core.

• Expertise in working with MS SQL and database management principles.

• Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating them with frontend applications.

• Proficiency in performance optimization and troubleshooting in backend systems.

• Experience with version control systems, especially Git.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:​

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies for backend systems.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
